Nancy Ellen Krick DeLucio passed away May 27, 2023, peacefully.
I was born October 19, 1937 to Leonard and Martha Burleson Krick at home in Weaver Station, Darke County, Ohio.
I have ventured thru life enjoying all that was offered. I was blessed with wonderful Christian parents, married Robert DeLucio November 28, 1957 and was gifted with five precious children. Throughout life I was blessed with many friends. All these wonderful people have enriched my life and made me happy.
I was also given many things to fill my days with joy. First was family. I enjoyed being a wife and mother. I found work to be fulfilling also…St Andrews Cafeteria, organists for St Andrew Church and St John's in New Paris. H and R Block Tax Service, First National Bank (aka Bank One and Chase), Lifetime member of Reid Health Auxiliary, Community Food Pantry, being a part of PTA and Catholic Women United.
And how I loved making quilts and doing embroidery. There were so many friends that shared their lives with me and how I loved them all. Another love I had was traveling and was blest by seeing so much of our world, first with my mom and then with friends (thank you Jean); Branson, New York, cruises to Alaska and riverboats on the Ohio and Mississippi, Broadway shows and so many more. Tours to the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Kenya, England, France, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii as well as most of the continental United States.
I could go on and on, but this will have to suffice with who I was. Now as a child of God, I go to my bestest friend of all.
I leave behind to hopefully remember me fondly-my husband, Bob, my children Marco (Lisa), Philip and #3 "favorite" son, David, Marianne DeLucio Aguilar and Rachel DeLucio Hickey (Roger). My angels, Nick, Hannah, Boomer, Layne, Brooke, Dominic, Erica, Zachary, Tabatha, Sydney, Jaxson, Karlee, Lily, Ava, Joey, Owen, Braydon and Callie. I cannot forget the spouses that became a part of us, Katie, Jason, Mary, Aaron, Eric and Lauren. Love you all!
I was preceded in death by my dear parents, little brother Philip, daughter-in-law Cindy and son-in-law Ron; so many close friends and family members, special sister-in-law Judy and longtime BFF Mikie.
