Neva L. Anderson, age 87 of Richmond peacefully passed away on Thursday February 26, 2026 at the age of 87. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on November 23, 1938 to Marvin M. and India O. (Zurwell) Blose. She was a Richmond High School graduate and worked at Holly Hill Restaurant and later retired from K-Mart. She attended First Christian Church earlier in life and worked in the nursery. Neva was an animal loving person, having dogs and cats throughout her life that became part of her family. She became a diehard Cincinnati Reds fan in her later years, watching every game that she could on tv. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Robert Anderson (Kim Anderson); grandchildren Matt (Kristi), Jeremy (Brittany) and Tyler (Meagan); great grandchildren Peyton, Braylen, Nevah, Noah, TyLynn and Charlee; several extended family members and her loving cat Eddy. She is preceded in death by her special dogs Sapphire and Sky.
Services for Neva will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday March 5, 2026 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary with Pastor Cindy Ploughe officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Goshen cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 5, 2026, from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home.
