Norman Don Nelson, age 60 of Centerville passed away Sunday (August 30, 2015) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Wayne County on February 27, 1955 to Okey and Juanita Allman Nelson. He married the love of his life Lorrean Lantz on March 5, 1976. He was a simple man who loved NASCAR and spent a lot of time on the farm. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with Lorrean. Survivors include his wife Lorrean; children Kim (Kelly) Shafner, Barbara (Bill Elston) Driskill, James Driskill, Marshall (Kristy) Nelson, Mindy (Jeremy Wolf) Nelson Mathews; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; his dog Snickers; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother. Services for Norman will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday (September 3, 2015) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Mark Thomas will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday (September 2, 2015) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Normans name to Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary.
