Ollie Plowman, age 90, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (July 14, 2007) at Forest Park Health Campus.� She was born in Lee County, Kentucky of March 28, 1917 to Wilson and Beatrice Cornett Newton and had lived in Richmond since 1946.� She was a retired employee of the former Smith-Esteb Sanitarium and was a 56 year member of the Sylvan Nook Church of Christ.��� Her husband, Ottis Plowman, died in 1981.�

Survivors include a half-sister - Elizabeth Stamper of Irvine, Kentucky;� sister-in-law - Louise Newton of Richmond;� nieces and nephews.� Two brothers and four sisters are also deceased.

Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday (July 17, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Mike Ballard will officiate.� Friends may call on Tuesday (July 17, 2007) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.� Services will also be held in Beattyville, Kentucky on Wednesday (July 18, 2007) at 2:00 pm in the Newnam Funeral Home.� Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Beattyville.
