Patricia J. (Roots) Hymer, age 85, formerly of Richmond, died Thursday (September 27, 2018) in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the loving daughter of the late Elizabeth Roots; devoted mother of Monica Hymer, Jeffrey Hymer, Vicki (Timothy) Thurman, Michael Hymer, Marna (Ken) Hymer, Jennifer Hymer, and the late Steven Hymer. She was the loving grandmother of Nicole (Terry), Heather, Amy, De'Era and Tristan. She was also the great grandmother of eight and the dear sister of William (Ada) Roots and the late Richard Roots. Patricia is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (October 27, 2018) in Elkhorn Cemetery.
