Patricia L. Smith, age 72, of Economy, died Saturday afternoon (December 24, 2011) at her residence. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 22, 1939 to Leon and Leah Maurer Dormer and had lived here most of her life. She was a retired employee of Reid Hospital and a member of Living Faith Church of God. Her husband, George J. Smith, died November 7, 2002. Survivors include her children - George (Angela) Smith, Jr. of Hagerstown, Justin B. Smith of Economy, Debra Keesling of Greenfield, Indiana; brothers - Terry and Leon Dormer of Michigan; sister - Sue (George) Fiegle of Michigan; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
