Paul E. Blunt, age 66, of Richmond, died Tuesday evening (June 1, 2010) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Flint, Michigan on July 11, 1943 and had lived in Richmond for the past 25 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked as a cross-country truck driver. Suvivors include his son - Hubert Blunt of Amarillo, Texas; step-son - Dennis (Pauletta) Hyer of Richmond of Richmond; sisters - Barbara Peck of Grand Blanc, Michigan; Linda (Don) Singles of Davison, Michigan; grandchildren - Hubert Blunt, Jr., Emerald Blunt, Warren Blunt; sister-in-law - Janis Blunt; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Ruth Blunt; brother - Douglas Blunt; mother - Helen Pipoly Blunt; father - Roy Blunt and birth mother - Margaret Qualls Turner. The family would like to give special thanks to Chuck, Kay and Mikey Martin and to Donna Gordnier for there care and concern. No services or visitation are planned.
