May 10, 2009 Paul V. "Cookie" Cook, age 77, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (May 10, 2009) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 28, 1931 to James C. and Eva Campbell Cook McCoy and had lived here most of his life. He was a retired 30 year employee of the Richmond City Street Department and was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God. His former wife, Mary Cook, died in 2004. Survivors include his son - Paul T. (Sue) Cook of Richmond; sister - Mary (Alfred) Tillery of Manchester, Kentucky; brother - Joe (Rose) Cook of Richmond; grandchildren - Robert Cook and Missy Ward; great granddaughter - Renee Rednour. Three brothers, Claude, Walter and Arnold Cook, and a sister, Agnes Winters, are also deceased. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday (May 13, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Ralph Holdeman will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (May 12, 2009) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
