Paul D. Heis, age 59, passed away on Friday (June 16th 2017) at Reid Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Richmond on May 19th 1958 to Leonard & Ruth Heis and had lived in this area all his life. He had worked at Amedco for 33 years, and oversaw the tool & dye and maintenance departments. He had graduated from Lincoln High School, then went to Ivy Tech for tool & dye. He later went back to Ivy Tech to teach. Paul was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, and an avid NASCAR fan; particular rooting for Dale Earnhardt. He was a great father and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family. They often went to the family vacation home for gatherings.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years Linda Heis; daughters Carrie Goff and Sarah Goff; brothers David Heis, Chuck Heis, and John Heis; grandchildren Destiny, Kaleb, Hannah, and Addie. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a grandson Liam Kenworthy.

Services for Paul will be held on Tuesday (June 20th 2017) at 1 p.m. in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Brett Karanovich will officiate. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
