Paul D. Phillips of Richmond, passed away on April 12, 2024 at Friends Fellowship. He was born to Leonard and Carrie Phillips on September 27, 1922 and lived here all of his life. He served in the US Air Corp from 1942-1945. Paul worked as an engineer for 36 years with Penn Central Railroad and Conrail, retiring in 1982. After retirement, he spent his winters in Florida where he loved to play golf. Paul was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Engineers and Seventh Day Adventist Church where he served as an elder for several years.

Left to cherish his memory is his son Michael, grandson Paul and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Catherine; sister Jane and eight brothers Robert, James, Sidney, Eugene, Matthew and Daniel, Jack and Joseph.

Pastor Justo Morales will officiate private services. Riggle-Waltermann is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to the Seventh Day Adventist Church (4358 US-35 N Richmond, Indiana).
