Obituary

Paul Sherrow, age 89, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (April 6, 2010) at Rose Gate Village. He was born in Greenfield, Indiana on December 29, 1920 to Ira and Stella Anna Dotson Sherrow and had lived here most of his life. Paul was a graduate of Richmond High School and a retired employee of the former Knowles Tool Company. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served with the 3rd Army Division during World War II. He was a very active member of First Christian Church. Paul was an avid golfer and enjoyed taking care of his home. He was a member of American Legion Post 65 Suvivors include his wife - Margaret Sherrow; daughter - Linda (Myron) Hopkins of Richmond; sons - Timothy (Sharon) Sherrow of Clarkston, Michigan, Norman (Mary) Sherrow of Monroe, North Carolina; brother - Howard Sherrow of Richmond; sister - Ruth (Carroll) Austin of St. John, Indiana; 5 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one to be born in May; 7 step grandchildren; nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, three brothers, Stephen, Stanley and Donald Sherrow, are also deceased. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday (April 9, 2010) in Riggle - Waltemann Mortuary. Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate. Entombment will be in Earlham Mausoleum. Friends may call on Friday (April 9, 2010) from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
