Obituary

Pauline L. Brown, age 93, of Richmond passed away Wednesday (May 13, 2015). She had been a resident of Golden Living Care Center for the past 2 years. She was born January 1, 1922 in Richmond and was the daughter of Frank and Flora Schroeder. She was a life-long parishner of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She had worked in the Wayne County Court system for many years beginning as a clerk for the Justice of the Peace. She was an avid bowler at one time and served as secretary of the local league. She was also an active member of the Business Women's Club and a volunteer at the Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman (Pete) Brown, a son William R. Brown and six siblings. She is survived by one son, Larry (Imogene) of Houston, TX; three grandsons: Rodney (Julie) Brown of Houston, TX, Nicholas (Jennifer) Brown of New Port Richey, FL, and Ben (Catherine) Brown of Penhook, VA. She also leaves four great grandchildren, a sister Anne Brinker and a brother Charles (Pauline) Schroeder both of Richmond and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrew Church on Tuesday (May 19, 2015) at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary (32 South 11th Street) on Monday (May 18, 2015) from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
