Penny M. Drook, age 56, of Richmond, died Monday morning (October 27, 2008) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on May 19, 1952 and had lived here all of her life. She had worked at the former Taste of Love Bakery and Gourmet Deli. Penny loved to play bingo and found enjoyment in looking for antiques and going to auctions. Survivors include her husband William Drook whom she married on April 4, 1970; son William (Kim) Drook of Richmond; daughter Jennifer Drook of Richmond; mother Wanda (Larry) Brees of Cambridge City; brother Jim (Sallye) Creech of Richmond, her twin sister Jenny (Doug) Mullen of Straughn, Indiana, half-sister - Lisa (Gary) Spotts of Centerville, half-brothers - Anthony Centers of Richmond, William Centers of Richmond; step-sister Carla (Gene) Wyatt of Richmond; grandchildren Cody Drook, Paige Drook, Mandi Trent, Connor Drook and Cooper Drook; nieces and nephews. Her father, William Centers, and a half-sister, Mary Frances Smith, are also deceased. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday (November 1, 2008) in Riggle Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. David Eales and Rev. Kevin Shindoll will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (October 31, 2008) from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
