Peter W. Lyons, age 70, who resided in Cambridge City, died Monday evening (August 26, 2013) at Reid Hospital. He was born in San Diego. California on February 10, 1943 to William J. and Nina Eleanor Roddie Lyons and had lived in this area since 1965. He was a graduate of Clairemont High School in San Diego and was a veteran of the US Army. Pete was the owner/operator of the former Pete's Pantry and had worked in sales and marketing. He was a retired employee of WQLK/WHON where he had worked for over 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Williams Lyons; sons, Gregory (Brenda) Lyons of Coatesville, Indiana and Chris (Angela) Lyons of Harker Heights, Texas; 6 grandchildren. He also leaves his special K-9 companion, "Spencer". In addition to his parents, a brother, Larry L. Lyons, is also deceased. Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday (August 30, 2013) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City.
