Phyllis J. Fraley, 89 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday November 30 at IU Health, Indianapolis, IN.
Mrs. Fraley was born on June 22, 1934, to Walter and Edith Frame in Greensfork, IN.
She was united in marriage to Russell Fraley on Dec 1, 1951 in Richmond IN where she lived her entire life.
Phyllis retired from Reid Hospital in 1999 where she worked as a Materials Processing Technician.
Mrs. Fraley was a charter member of Chapelwood Baptist Church in Winchester, IN where she worked alongside her husband for 52 years, teaching Sunday School, VBS, singing in the choir, and leading women's ministry.
Phyllis loved the Lord and was a devoted wife, loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Russell Fraley, her 8 children, Marsha Booker (Bob), Joyce Pitcher, Janet Dennis (Dan), Teresa Fraley, Nancy Marshall (Randy), Melinda Dennis (Kenny), James Fraley (Sarah), Bryan Fraley, 21 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. Sisters Janet Newland, Wilma Moore, Diane Abney, Sherry Ellingwood (Terry), Debbie Johnson, Brother Darrell Frame (Shirley), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Byron and Jerry Frame, son-in-law Ralph Pitcher, grandson John Fraley, great granddaughters Maggie Riley, Penny Pitcher, Alanah Fraley.
Visitation will be Friday Dec 8th from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary 32 South 11th St, Richmond, IN.
