Phyllis L. Metz, age 84, of Richmond, died Saturday (November 1, 2003) at Reid Hospital.
She was born in Modoc, Indiana on March 21, 1919 to Warder and Mae Conwell Wright and had lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Cambridge City High School and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include: Husband - Robert Metz (to whom she was married 66 years)
Son - James Metz of Logansport, Indiana
Daughters - Carolyn Pennington of Greenwood, Indiana
Diana Pennington of McDonough, Georgia
Sister - Adeen Campbell of Richmond 9 Grandchildren
10 Great Grandchildren

A son, Max Metz, died in April 1979. Three sisters and a brother are also deceased.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday (November 6, 2003) at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Father Todd Riebe will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (November 5, 2003) from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
