Randall R. Snyder, age 26, of Richmond, died Wednesday (October 19, 2011). He was born in Richmond on November 25, 1984 to Larry L. and Nancy Moody Snyder and had lived here all of his life. He was a 2003 graduate of Richmond High School and a 2011 graduate of Ivy Tech with an associates degree in Applied Science and Computer Information. Randy was a US Army veteran having served for 6 years including two tours in Iraq. He was a life-long member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his mother - Nancy Snyder of Richmond; sister - Becky Garrison of Muncie; brothers - Doug Snyder and Brad Snyder both of Richmond; nephew - Jay Ryan Garrison of Muncie; girlfriend - Carolyn Lewis of Richmond; "foster-sister" - Alyssa Horrigan of Richmond. His father, Larry L. Snyder, died August 27, 2008. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday (October 24, 2011) in First Christian Church (100 South 10th Street - Richmond). Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Friends may call on Sunday (October 23, 2011) from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
