Randy Ray Lacy, age 58 of Richmond died Wednesday April 19, 2023. He was born in Key West, Florida on April 27, 1964, to Charles Joseph and Joann Lacy. Randy traveled a lot as a child with his family following their dad until the summer of 1977 when they moved to Richmond. He graduated from RHS in 1983 and was a part of the "Building Trades" class that built homes on Airport Road while in school. He was always into construction and home improvement having worked on several homes and businesses in the area throughout his working career. Randy was a generous, kind soul who was always helping elderly ladies or helping animals in some way.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings Wendy Sloan of Richmond, IN, Diana Heintz of Jacksonville, FL, Angela Coyle of Richmond, IN, Chuck Lacy of Richmond, IN and Lisa Lacy of Orlando, FL; many cousins in Richmond and the state of Maine; several nieces and nephews and special childhood friend Sherry Ludwig.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Marty Herron and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday April 28, 2023 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Doug Townsend will officiate.
