Raymond Charles O'Donnell Jr., age 77, passed away on August 26, 2023 at Reid Health. He was born in Abington, Pennsylvania on January 9, 1946 to Raymond Charles Sr. and Doris (Keyes) O'Donnell. After graduating from Bishop Egan High School in Philadelphia he joined the United States Army, serving 4 years. Raymond was a translator for NSA for 3 years during the Vietnam war, worked at D&M for 9 years, Ford for 2 years, the Dunn Center in Richmond, Reid hospital for 21 years and Centerstone until his retirement. He enjoyed working out at Planet Fitness and traveling. He also loved watching NFL football, boxing, fastpitch girls' college softball and the little league world series. Raymond has always been a computer whiz, from building robots when he was a child to using encrypted apps at 77 years old. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by many.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Kristin Peters (Ronald), son Scott O'Donnell, son Erik O'Donnell (Susannah), step-daughter Karen Martin (Tim), step-son Todd Anderson (Peggy Nolte); grandchildren Alyssa, Benjamin, Aaron and Jyanna; sister Mary Ann Holbrook "Peach"; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his wife Gloria O'Donnell and nephew Jimmy Holbrook.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday August 31, 2023 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Father David Doseck will officiate. Burial will follow in Greens Fork South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. on Thursday August 31, 2023 at the funeral home.
