Richard Allen Blose, passed away on January 13, 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis at the age of 90. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on February 28, 1935 to Rex E. and Anna A. (Heigher) Blose. After graduating from Whitewater High School, Richard attended Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Phillips University; his Master of Divinity Degree from Phillips Theological Seminary and his Post Graduate from the University of Edinburg in Scotland. He served as a Minister at the First Christian Church in Wellington, Kansas, Braunston Church of Christ in Leicester, England, First Christian Church in Richmond, Indiana and the Pendleton Christian Church in Pendleton, Indiana. Richard was also involved in many organizations including Kiwanis Club of Richmond, Cicero Kiwanis Club and the Richmond Ministerial Association. He served on the board for the Mental Health Association of Wayne County, the American Cancer Society of Wayne County and Madison County, Reid Hospital Professional Advisory Council, Whitewater Opera Company and Greater Richmond Progress Committee. Richard led a remarkable earthly life and touched the lives of so many people.

Left to cherish his memory are several friends, including friend Roy Lappin. Richard is preceded in death by his parents.
