Richard H. Rodal, age 96, of Richmond, died on Thursday July 31, 2025 at Reid Health. He was born in Flint, Michigan on November 29, 1928 to Ralph B. and Ruth (Sharp) Rodal and had lived here much of his life. He was a 1947 graduate of Richmond High School. Richard had been a registered professional engineer and had worked for many years at Natco as well as companies in Ohio and Massachusetts. He was a member of the Golden "K" Kiwanis.

Survivors include four sons, Mike (Grace Ann) Rodal of Richmond, Indiana, Dennis Rodal of Greensburg, Indiana, Stanley (Mary Beth) Rodal of Sheffield Village, Ohio and Christopher Rodal of Greensburg, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Clara, his parents, great grandson Nathan O'Maley and daughter-in-law Jacquie Rodal.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday August 5, 2025 at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00am-12:30pm on Tuesday August 5, 2025 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary.
