Robert A. Robbins, age 93, of Richmond, died Thursday (September 1, 2005) at Rose Gate Village. He was born in Richmond on February 12, 1912 to Jacob F. and Anna Borton Robbins and had lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Morton High School and had worked as personnel manager at the former Crosley Manufacturing Co. He had also worked in sales for the former Vivian Buick for twenty years. He was a member of First Friends Meeting where he served as chairman of ushers for over 20 years. He was a former member of Richmond Lodge #196 F & AM. and a member of Whitewater Lodge #41 IOOF. His wife, June V. Robbins, died on January 16, 1994.

Carol Ann (Gene) Kovach of Shreveport, Louisiana
Son - Roland L. (Betty) Robbins of Snellville, Georgia

a twin brother, Roland Robbins, and a grandson, Terry Kovach, are also deceased.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday (September 8, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Doug Gwyn will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (September 7, 2005) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Friends Meeing, 2010 Chester Blvd., Richmond, Indiana 47374
