Robert Dock Kelly, Jr., age 60, died Thursday afternoon (January 20, 2011) at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born in Warren, Ohio on May 17, 1950 to Robert and Lucy Wallace Kelly and had lived in Richmond for several years before moving to New Castle. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and had worked for Tom Raper RV's. He was a member of the American Legion and an active member of the Whitewater Valley Detachment of the Marine Corp League where he was a vigorous participant in the Toys for Tots program. Survivors include his children - Robert (Billijo) Kelly of South Carolina, Lisa (Richard) Sharoyer of Richmond, Ronald (Sherry) Kelly of Phoenix, Arizona, Amanda Kelly of Richmond; his mother - Lucy Kelly of New Castle; sisters - Beverly Carey of Ashtabula, Ohio, Helen Barlow of Ontario, Canada, Nancy Hicks of New Castle and Patricia Mufitt of New Castle; 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 5:00 pm on Saturday (January 22, 2011) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Mark Minor will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday (January 22, 2011) from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
