Robert H. Metz, age 90, formerly of Richmond, died Sunday evening (January 14, 2007) in Logansport, Indiana.� He was born on March 10, 1916 in Richmond to Joseph and Mary Brokamp Metz and had lived in Richmond most of his life before moving to Logansport two years ago.� He retired in 1979 as a tool and die maker for Dana Corporation and was a member of Saint Andrew Church.� He was an avid fan of horse racing.� His wife, Phyllis Metz, died on November 1, 2003.

Survivors include his son - James Metz of Logansport; Daughters - Carolyn Pennington of Greenwood, Indiana and Diana Pennington of McDonough, Georgia; a nephew - Bob Harris; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews

A son, Max Metz, died in 1979.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday (January 18, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Father Eric Augenstein will officiate.� Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery.� Friends may call on Thursday (January 18, 2007)from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
