Robert A. Morris, age 67, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (November 25, 2012) at his residence. He was born on November 15, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Kansas to James H. and Audrey J. Speed Morris and had lived in Richmond since 2007. He was a veteran of the US Navy and had been employed by the former Hoffco/Comet Inc. Bob was an active and faithful member of First Christian Church. He was an avid golfer and had coached girls varsity golf for two years at Tri-Village High School. Survivors include his wife of 48 years - Bonnie Morris; children - Dawn Morris of Richmond, Tony (Martie) Morris of Indianapolis, Richard Morris of San Francisco, Holly (Brian Clevenger) Caudill of Plainfield; sister - Gayle Morris of San Marcos, Texas; brother - James H. Morris of Orlando, Florida; half-brothers - Michael Morris of Martinsville and Christopher Morris of Indianapolis; grandchildren - Zachary Hollingsworth, Cassandra Hollingsworth, Erin Hollingsworth, Tabitha Caudill, Dylan Caudill, Jaimie Morris; step-grandchildren - Scotty Fulk, Ryan Fulk, Dakota Ryan; great grandchildren - Caiden Holllingsworth, Capri Jones A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (November 30, 2012) in First Christian Church (100 South 10th Street). Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
