Robert V. Richardson, age 91, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (October 10, 2006) at Reid Hospital after an extended illness.� He was born in Fountain City, Indiana on October 13, 1915 to George and Viola Vore Richardson and had lived in this area all of his life.� He was a 1933 graduate of Lynn High School and was a US Army veteran of World War II.� Bob retired in 1979 as Line Superintendent for Richmond Power and Light after 34 years of employment.� He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 65, and he was a member of the Richmond Evening Optimist Club where he had served two separate terms as president.� He was also a member of the Richmond Senior Center.�

Survivors include his wife Sarah "Betty" Richardson to whom he was married 62 years; daughter - Patricia J. Cole of San Antonio, Texas; son - Robert Richardson of Fairfax Station, Virginia; 4 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; Nieces & Nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday (October 13, 2006) in the Earlham Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.� Rev. John Hollis will officiate.� Entombment will follow in the Earlham Mausoleum.� Friends may call on Friday (October 13, 2006) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the mausoleum.� Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 100 North 10th Street, Richmond, IN 47374.� Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.�
