Robert L. Robbins, age 35, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Thursday morning (August 7, 2008) in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in Richmond on March 22, 1973 to Charles R. and Ima Carr Robbins and had lived here all of his life. He had worked as a painter for Charles Robbins Painting Contractor. Survivors include three sons - Derrick Robbins, Devon Robbins and Ronnie White all of Richmond; brothers - Chuck Carpenter of Richmond, Marvin Carpenter of Richmond; sisters - Teresa Cassady of Richmond and Charlotte Thacker of New Castle; paternal grandfather - Earl (Martha) Robbins of Kentucky; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His paternal grandmother, Minnie Robbins, and his maternal grandparents, Emma Sandlin and Clarence Carr, are also deceased Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday (August 13, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (August 12, 2008) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
