Robert J Toney passed away on December 3rd, 2023.
Robert was born April 17th, 1938, in Richmond, In. to Alphonso and Edith Morris Toney. He attended Richmond High School before enlisting into the Army. He worked at Hoffco Manufacturing and NATCO Manufacturing
Before retiring from Richmond State Hospital after 21 years of service. His hobbies included square and round dancing, camping, boating, horseback riding, and a (CB), citizens band radio operator.
He leaves his loving wife Patricia Henderson Toney after 64 years of marriage. Survivors include two sons, Cecil (Judith) Toney of Richmond, In, Paul Toney of Land o Lakes, Fl, Two daughters Sherrie Toney of Land O Lakes, Fl and Paula Groves of Kendallville, In; Several grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
He is preceded in the death of two sons, Joseph and Jeffery Toney, father, mother, and a brother and sister.
Services for Robert will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday December 13, 2023, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 13, 2023, from 11am-1pm at the funeral home.
