Robert E. Veregge, age 81, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (September 9, 2003) . He was born in Richmond on August 9, 1922 to Howard and Wahnetta Freeman Veregge and had lived here all of his life. He was a retired 43 year employee of Richmond Fireproof Door Company and was a US Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Catherine "Peggy" Veregge, died October 31, 1989.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday (September 12, 2003) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Father Todd Riebe will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday (September 11, 2003) from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
