Roberta Mills, age 91, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (January 7, 2007) in Reid Hospital.� She was born in Wayne County on November 10, 1915 to James Roy and Lilly Pitts Sheffer and had lived here all of her life.� She was a graduate of Morton High School and had worked at Richmond Glove Company and Decca Records.� She had also been employed by Graham Cleaners and Area 9 Agency on Aging.� She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.� Her husband, Sam Mills, died in 1978.

Survivors include her son Doyle (Doris) Nichols of Richmond;

Sister - Ruth Chamberlain of Richmond;

Grandchildren - Dwayne (Sheri) Nichols of Fort Wayne and Tina (Scott) Batchelder of Florida;

Great Grandchildren - Amber, Brent, Rebecca and Kaylie;

Nieces & Nephews.

Four brothers, Garth, Robert, Russell and Herbert Sheffer, are also deceased.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday (January 11, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.�� Rev. Charles Voit will officiate.� Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City.�� Friends may call on Thursday (January 11, 2007) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
