Roland J. Conti, age 69, passed away on Monday (October 12th 2015) at Reid Hospital. He was born on August 22nd 1946 to Roland and Annelies Conti in Helmstedt, Germany and had moved to Richmond shortly after. He had retired from Ford and Chrylser Ford, Chrysler and Department of Defense where he worked as a journeyman tool maker, journeyman tool and gauge inspector, and in quality control, respectively. He transitioned into retirement as the owner and host of Seldom Scene Meadow Bed and Breakfast Survivors include his wife of 29 years Leighanne Hahn; children Michelle (Darin) Conti-Moore, Ralph V. (Tina) Conti, Samuel Hahn-Conti, and Michael (Laura) Hahn-Conti; brother Ralph S. (Gerry) Conti; grandchildren Brent, Zachary, Christian, Gabrielle, Vincenzo, Riley, and Raegan; cousins Victor (Sally) Conti & Loretta (Neil) Anderson; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call on Wednesday (October 14th 2015) from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Friends may donate to the Cardinal Greenway Trail ( www.cardinalgreenways.org/volunteer-donate/ ) in lieu of Flowers.
