Romona (Mona) Eileen McCrory, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home on March 13, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Mona was born March 25, 1946, in Connersville, IN to Charles E and Rosemary E Lang.

She attended school in Union County, IN and graduated from Short High School in 1964. Mona enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She was an active member of the Catholic community and was very devout in her faith. Her love of God was known to anyone who met her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ed, of 60 years, daughters Michelle Ramsey and Susan Nicholson (Kevin), grandsons Brandon Ramsey and Kaler Nicholson (Alexis), sister Priscilla Robinson (Ron), brothers, Terry Lang (Carolyn), Rick Lang (Mary), Tony Lang, in addition to several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday April 14, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church at 720 N A St, Richmond, IN with Father Sengole Gnanaraj officiating. Entombment at Earlham Cemetery Mausoleum will be privately held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions to be made in Romona's name to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 240 South 6th Street Richmond, IN 47374, or any organization of your choosing.
