Ronald Lee Horr, age 76, passed away on Friday (February 14, 2014) at his residence in Greensfork. He was born on September 9, 1937 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio to Elmer and Mabel Horr. Ronald had spent most of his work life working for Hillcroft in New Castle. Survivors include sisters Peggy Horr, Sue (Ron) Gellinger, Betty (Gene) Jacoby, Nancy Cooper, and Beverly Stewart; a special nephew Kenny Powell; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by brothers James Horr, Art Horr, and Rodney Horr; and a sister Phyllis Vanlandingham. Services for Ronald will be held on Monday (February 17, 2014) at 7 p.m. in Riggle-Waltermann mortuary. Father Joe Rautenberg will officiate. Friends may call on Monday from 5p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Goshen cemetery at a later date.
