Ronald D. Wright, age 83 of Richmond passed away Saturday (February 27, 2021) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond, IN on November 7, 1937 to St. Elmo and Edith Haymaker Wright and had lived here all of his life. Ron retired from Alcoa after 30+ years and spent his retirement fishing, playing music and enjoying life with his friends and family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kay Wright; children Cyndi Wright (Pat Burroughs), Tim (Carlisa) Wright and Ron (Julie) Wright; daughters-in-law Tammy Wright and Tincey Begley; step daughters Marcia Shook and Donna (Daryl) Orebaugh; several grandchildren and many other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by first wife Barbara Lee Wright; second wife Peggy Wright; third wife Norma Wright; daughter Mary Ann Wright and sons Doug Wright, Mike Wright and Rick Wright.
Service for Ron will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday (March 3, 2021) at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Mike Stonebraker will officiate. Burial in Earlham cemetery will be held at a later date. Visitation for Ron will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday (March 3, 2021) at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary.
