Ronnie Gene Richard, age 74 of Richmond, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday April 7, 2018. He was born on December 22, 1943, he was the son to the late Cecil Richard and Beatrice Brown. He worked for the Richmond Sanitary District and helped out at his parents business, Whiteys Bait Shop. He attended Bible Baptist Church, was an avid bowler and was well known for his jokes. He never knew a stranger. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by Margie Miller; brother Jim Richard, David Richard and Larry Plyley.



He is survived by his brothers Toby Richard and Jack Richard; children Kathy Kelly, Tracy Chesher, Donnie (Dayna) Richard and Ronnie Richard; grandchildren Ryan and Jessica Goodson, Alison Salkoski and Dylan Richard; great grandchild Issac Michael Goodson. He also leaves behind a special close friend Steve Miller and Martha Tucker and lots of nieces and nephews.



Services for Ronnie will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday April 12, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church. Pastor Fletcher Calahan will officiate. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday April, 11, 2018 at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.
