Rosalee Carol O'Conner, age 81, of Richmond, peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday November 19, 2025 while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on January 1, 1944 to William Robert Hughes Sr. and Martha (Hire) Reeves. Rosalee was married to Daniel L. O'Conner in 1961 and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years; she volunteered her time in the community schools program "Study Buddies" and was generous with her heart and her time. Rosalee held a high regard for children's welfare, the soap pantry and she was very giving to her community. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Marilyn O'Conner-Geiling, Lance O'Conner, Shawn (Lora) O'Conner; siblings Roger Hughes and Nancy Reeves; grandchildren Rebecca (Roy) Turner, Nickia (Chance) Kalugyer, Anthony O'Conner-Geiling, Samantha Geiling; great grandchildren Hezakia Turner, Sebatian Kalugyer, Killian Kalugyer, Soran Kalugyer, Hayden O'Conner-Geiling and Oliver O'Conner-Geiling; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Daniel O'Conner; daughter Daniela L. O'Conner; siblings William "Bill" Hughes Jr., Bessie Otten, Sandra Roark and Carl Hughes.
