Rosellas Bennett, age 70, of Greens Fork IN, went home to the Lord Friday, April 21st, 2023. She was born October 18, 1952, in Richmond IN, to Eugene A. Freeman and Mary Margaret Waterman Freeman. Rosella dedicated most of her life to caring for others. She was an amazing registered nurse. She touched so many lives as a director of nursing, working on several Alzheimer's units, and being a board member of the Indiana state governors task force on Alzheimer's disease. She started a yearly memory ride poker run to raise money for Alzheimer's disease and also taught certified nursing assistant classes at IVY Tech.
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years Dallas M. Bennett of Greens Fork IN. Her daughter Wendy Vanover (Bill), son Dallas (Reeko) Bennett (Marcia). Four grandchildren Lacey Goodwin (Darryl), Courtney Goodell (Brandon), Matthew Bennett (Lauryn) Jacob Bennett (Amy) and 3 great grandchildren. Sister Jeannie Chambers (Steve), Brother Tommy Freeman (Julie), and several sister and brother in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and our extended family the Stevens.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, one sister, Cynthia Mae DeLucio, Three brothers Charlie, James (Bimbo) and Robert (Buzzy) Freeman. Father and mother in law Robert and Betty Bennett Sister in law Sherry Freeman. Brother in law Eddie Partin. One Loving nephew Little Bob Hickman and her beloved fur baby Harley Rose.
Friends may call from 10 am to 12 pm., Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 at Riggle-Waltermann Funeral Home 32 South 11th Street Richmond, Indiana 47374. Funeral service for Rosella Bennett will follow at 12 pm. Funeral service to be officiated by Dallas (Reeko) Bennett. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, Indiana.
