Ruby M. McClure, age 97, of Richmond, died peacefully on Sunday morning (February 6, 2005) at Friends Fellowship Community. She was born on February 9, 1907 to Frank and Olive Royer and had lived in this area most of her life. In the early part of her married life she taught elementary school, primarily in Wayne County, and continued as a substitute teacher and homemaker after her children were born. She was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church and she found enjoyment in crocheting baby caps for the new-born nursery at Reid Hospital. Her husband, Paul C. McClure, died on August 23, 1981.

Sister - Mary Harsh of Union City, Indiana

She was extremely proud of her 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchldren and 1 Great Great Grandchild
Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday (February 9, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Doug Sanders will officiate. Entombment will be in Earlham Mausoleum. Friends may call on Tuesday (February 8, 2005) from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
