Russell "Denny" Hansel, age 67, of Centerville, went to be with his Lord on Friday (March 20, 2009). He was born June 4, 1941 in Mt Vernon, Kentucky to Louis and Daisy (Cummins) Hansel. He retired from Dana Corp. after 30 years of service. He was a loving husband and is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sarah "Libby" Hansel. He is also survived by his children - Carol Brabaw (husband Bruce) and Lew Hansel (wife Elise); 2 granddaughters - Sarah and Danielle Brabaw; special cousins - Carol Cain, Martha Rose, Gayle Cate; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Louis and Daisy Hansel; a brother, and a special aunt, Lucille Henry. He will be sorely missed by many. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday (March 23, 2009) in the Galilean Baptist Church, 204 South Morton, Centerville. Pastor John Maples will officiate. Burial will be in Williamsburg Cemetery.
