Ruth E. Chamberlain, age 94, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (April 30, 2009) at Golden Living Center - Oakridge. She was born in Richmond on August 16, 1914 to Roy and Lilly Pitts Sheffer and had lived here all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Saint Andrew Church. Her husband, Conrad Chamberlain, died on August 15, 1990. Survivors include her son - Jerry (Sue) Chamberlain of Richmond; 3 grandsons; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be conducted on Saturday (May 2, 2009) in Saint Mary Cemetery. There will be no public calling.
