Obituary

With very heavy hearts, we share the passing of Ruth Ann Lamm on Tuesday March 11, 2025, at the age of 78. The daughter of Linus and Alma Lamm, Ruth Ann was born in Celina, Ohio on February 14, 1947. Ruth loved to cook and bake for anyone and everyone. A love she passed onto her children and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, taking great pride in caring for all her flowers and watching them grow. Ruth cared for all animals and enjoyed watching Fox News. Ruth Ann loved her family and had the dearest friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Kelly (Dave) Stanton-Knapke and Troy Stanton; brother Jack Lamm; grandchildren Klinton Knapke, Kurtis (Kimmie Geer) Knapke, Jasmine Plough; several nieces and nephews including special great nephew TJ Mello and all of her loving pets.

Ruth Ann is preceded in death by her parents Linus and Alma; first husband Dale Stanton and sister Kathleen Winslow.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday March 22, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church (815 W Main Street) followed by a meal at Seton HS (233 S 5th Street). Memorial visitation will be held on Friday March 21, 2025 from 4-7pm at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary (32 S 11th Street).

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seton Catholic Schools (240 S 6th Street), Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana (P.O. Box 7174, Greenwood, IN 46162), or Animal Care Alliance (1353 Abington Pike).
