Obituary

Ruth C. Lehman, age 91, of Richmond, died Tuesday (May 31, 2005) at Heritage House of Richmond. She was born in Richmond on August 14, 1913 to Oscar and Lena Klute Nolte and had lived here all of her life. Ruth was a great mother and devoted her married life to her children; those who knew her always remarked about her ability to cook and bake. Her first love was family and a close second was her church. She was a life-long member of Saint John Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed playing bridge and took great pride in her work as a cook at the YMCA for the Y's Men's Club and at Test Junior High School. Her husband, Verl Lehman, died on January 19, 1987.

Becky (Maurice) Ellington of Richmond
Sons - Richard (Kathy) Lehman of Richmond
Jerry Lehman of Vancouver, Washington
David Lehman of Fountain City
11 Grandchildren
17 Great Grandchildren
3 Great Great Grandchildren
Several Step-Grandchildren, Step-Great Grandchildren & Step-Great Great Grandchildren.
A sister, Alice Brand, is also deceased
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday (June 3, 2005) in Saint John Lutheran Church (501 South 7th Street). Pastor John Place will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (June 3, 2005) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint John Lutheran Church. www.riggle-waltermann.com
