We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Ruth "Cissy" Mullins, lovingly known as Cissy to family and friends, who peacefully passed away on February 19, 2024. Born on March 9, 1954, in Brownsville, IN, Ruth was a proud graduate of the RHS Class of 1972, where she made cherished memories and lifelong friendships.
Sissy was a vibrant soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for animals, especially her dogs, was evident to all who knew her. She had a hardworking spirit and held jobs at the Milkhouse and Fun N Games, where she made lasting connections within the community. Beyond her work, Cissy had a soft spot for old Western movies and could often be found listening to the soulful tunes of Janis Joplin, finding solace and happiness in music.
Though she may no longer be physically present with us, Cissy's memory will live on in the hearts of her devoted spouse, Dan Mullins, and all those she touched during her lifetime.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dan Mullins; daughter Charlene Fisher; siblings Jean (Larry) Toney and Donnie Lawson; sister-in-law Melanie Mullins; niece Charlotte Marlin, nephew Larry Toney and many other friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Bill Lawson.
Services for Ruth "Cissy" Mullins will be held at 1pm on Thursday February 29, 2024, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary with burial to follow in Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm on Thursday February 29, 2024 at the funeral home.
