Ruth Anne Cassiday Pittinger, 74 of Richmond, passed away Wednesday March 9, 2022. Born on July 30, 1947, in Rush County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late James Raymond Cassiday and Martha Leslie Reeves Cassiday and was the beloved wife of 53 years to Curt Pittinger. She was a bookkeeper for 19 years at Wayne Bank and Trust and was a devoted member of Centerville Christian Church for 35 years. Ruth Anne was a 1965 graduate of Knightstown High School and remained close to her classmates. Ruth Anne loved to travel and spoil her grandchildren that she was so proud of.

Left to cherish her memory are one son, Tim (Stephanie) Pittinger of Boiling Springs, SC; one daughter Tina (Wendy) Stafford of Yorktown, IN; one brother Richard (Dorinda) Cassiday of Anderson, IN; and five grandchildren: Mariah, Dylan, Ray, Keith and Carsyn. She is preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends on Monday March 14, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Centerville Christian Church (111 North Morton Avenue Centerville, Indiana 47330). A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Benjamin Cassiday officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Christian Church Cemetery, Mays, Indiana. Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary is handling arrangements.
