Ruthellen Stimmel, age 85, formerly of Richmond, died Monday morning (March 1, 2010) at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse, Indiana. She was born in Richmond on August 1, 1924 to Thomas and Hester Lillian Whitacre Greenstreet and had lived here most of her life. She had been director of the former Tax Research Bureau in Richmond and then worked for Anheuser-Busch in Marion, Ohio. She moved back to Richmond from Ohio and then moved to Syracuse. Her husband, George Robert Stimmel, died on May 17, 1998. Survivors include her daughter �" Leslie Ann Hardwick of North Webster, Indiana; son �" Samuel Scott Stimmel of North Webster, Indiana; grandchildren �" Todd Miller, Tracy Stimmel, Shelly Stimmel and Patrick Adams; 5 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday (March 4, 2010) in Earlham Cemetery Mausoleum. Rev. John Hollis will officiate.
