Scott D. McWhorter, age 60, of Richmond, died Saturday evening (July 6, 2013) at Golden Living Center �" Golden Rule. He was born in Camp Atterbury, Indiana on December 28, 1952 to Delmer and Wanda Burton McWhorter and had lived here most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Army and had worker for Joy Ann Bakery. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Dorothy McWhorter, daughters, Karen McWhorter, Teresa McWhorter; son Joseph McWhorter; sisters Janet Krause and Brenda Lawson both of Oregon; brothers Charles McWhorter and Bert McWhorter both of Oregon; nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday (July 10, 2013) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate.
