Sherry A. Whipple, age 58, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (April 10, 2007) at Reid Hospital.� She was born in Greenville, Ohio on July 12, 1948 to Robert and Virginia Showalter and was a graduate of Jefferson High School in New Paris.� She had previously worked as a tutor at Crestdale School and had worked at Wayne Bank and Trust for the past 11 years.� She had also worked part-time at Hallmark of Richmond for the past 14 years.� Her husband, Michael K. Whipple, died on February 8, 1995.

Survivors include her daughter - Kimberly (Brad) Walton of Richmond;� son - Gregory (Stacy) Whipple of Richmond;� mother-in-law and father-in-law - Robert and Betty Whipple of Richmond;� sister-in-law and brother-in-law - Nancy and Gary Whitney of Richmond;� grandson - Michael Whipple;� nephew - Jason (Leslei) Whitney and niece - Christy Whitney

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday (April 14, 2007) at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Steve Abernathy will officiate.� Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.� Friends may call on Friday (April 13, 2007) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
