Sheryl Diann Roser (Britt), age 68, passed away on January 29, 2021 at Reid Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1952 in Richmond, Indiana to Robert and Evelyn Siders Britt. Sheryl lived in the Richmond area all her life and attended Life Spring (Fountain City Wesleyan) Church. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1970 and Ivy Tech Nursing School in 1988.
As a nurse, Sheryl cared deeply for her patients and also inspired and guided numerous colleagues through their careers. She loved her family dearly and took deep pride in all of their accomplishments. Her friends spanned generations and interests, from local musicians, to neighbors at The Atlas, and recently in the antiques circuit. She will be missed by many in the local community.
She is survived by her children Kristy Grimes (Matt) McDivitt, Kathy Grimes (Kris) Bergan, Brian (Jill) Grimes; stepson Jim Roser; siblings James Britt, Michael Britt, stepsiblings John Wysong, Kenny Wysong and Diana Wysong, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Evelyn and her beloved dog, Tad.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary Cemetery. Pastor David Anderson will officiate. Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
