Sheryl L. "Sherry" Weiss, age 64, of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday morning (September 13, 2010) at her residence. She was born in Richmond on November 3, 1945 to Walter and Joann Stack Poffenberger and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a 1963 graduate of Jefferson High School and had worked at the Wheel and at the Eagle's Lodge. Sherry enjoyed traveling and found pleasure in visiting the area casinos and riverboats. She greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and was very fond of her pets. Survivors include her husband - James Weiss, daughter - Kelley Scott of Maryland; sons - Darren Philpot of the Philippines and Kevin Fenton of Cleveland.; step-children - Derek (Dawn) Weiss of Centerville, Marc (Laura) Weiss of Hagerstown, Amanda Weiss of Monroe, Michigan; brother - Jerry Presley of Greenville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Friday (September 17, 2010) in Riggle = Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate. Friends may call on Friday (September 17, 2010) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
