Shirley Anne Miller, 88, of Richmond, Indiana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

She was born on August 10, 1937 to Harold and Anna (Smith) Campbell and was a lifelong resident of Richmond. Shirley graduated from Richmond Sr. High School in 1955 and was married to Martin L. Miller on May 9, 1959. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and a longtime member of the YMI. Shirley enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and boating with family and friends. She loved the sunshine and working in her yard. She and her husband Marty loved spending time at the Middlefork Reservoir where she enjoyed working part-time in the bait shop. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters Kristy Porfidio of Richmond, Tammy (Brian) Jones of Shelbyville; son-in-law Steve Mooney of Richmond; grandchildren Sarah Porfidio, Christina (Craig) Paul, Stuart (Blayr) Jones, Tony Duncan, Andrea (Ben) Arroyo, Jason (Blerina) Mooney and Courtney Mooney; and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Marty; daughter Kelly Mooney; son-in-law Joseph Porfidio and granddaughter Emily Porfidio.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Shirley's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105) or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (240 South 6th Street Richmond, IN 47374).

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00am-12:00pm on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary.
